Disappearing Orangutan

Orangutans are the largest tree dwelling mammal in the world. Babies don’t leave their mothers until they are 12 years old.

Native to Malaysia and Indonesia now only exist in two very small areas in Borneo and Sumatra. Critically endangered due to habitat loss and fragmentation. Thousands of acres are being burned for palm tree plantations. Palm oil, found in anything from shampoo to chocolate bars, are replacing saturated fats and ruining the lives of the Orangutan.

To save the Orangutan, we must save the forests. Only purchase products use certified sustainable palm oil from RSPO.
